Give Us 2 Months - FAM
The Deputy President of Malaysia Football Association, Datuk Redzuan Sheikh Ahmad, announced that the association needs two months to do the postmortem and full investigation over the poor performance of Malaysia national team during Asian Cup.
The team have been hardly criticized after losing all the games in the tournament. It's a big shame as a host that lose all the games at home. Years after years, I think FAM still didn't realize out poor performance and yet they still shout out loud before every tournament. I am interested with an article from a local newspaper comparing Malaysia team selection with England selection. England squad full with players from top 4 teams in the league while Malaysia team full of craps. Malaysia used to select players with big names instead of their performance.
Look at the goalkeeper himself, Where did he came from? Shaky goalkeeping during the tournament. I don't think he knows what he was doing during the tournament. Just take a look at the rest of the team, pity Malaysian. It is really simple. Who the hell in this world dare to pick a striker who rarely score in the league to play for their team? And under what judgment the midfielders were selected? Are they the best that Malaysia have? The best to wear "Malaysia" black and yellow Nike kit?
FAM is really sensitive. More than a woman during menstruation period. Whoever dare to criticized them will be punished! I still remember what happen to Dato' Seri Ahmad Basri Akil when he criticized the association. He has been banned from the association for his words. What makes Datuk Anifah Aman qualify to be the National team manager? I think, our beloved Prime Minister call for the ministers to step out from sports association is really needed!!! One vote for you Pak Lah!!! Politicians shouldn't make the sports association as a platform to gain popularity. May be their name will contribute in sponsorship and strength, but it's not best to gamble our national pride and dignity for private needs.
Everytime we lose, the coach will says " I'm satisfied with the team performance!!" then a few officers will said, "The results won't effect our preparation for the next competition...", " We ned time...", "We need this and that...", " We'll fight for Malaysians...". Are they kidding us? And again, you can see the explainations after Asian Cup. Few were hiding and keep silence from the fans and reporters.
And yet, we've to wait for 2 months for the full report of Asian Cup performance. Long enough for the newspapers to stop writing about them. I love Malaysia!!!
